Research on the Range-Frequency Interference Characteristics of Target Scattering Field in a Shallow Water Waveguide

Based on the target scattering model and normal mode theory in a shallow water waveguide, mathematical of acoustic intensity under coupling condition environment was deduced, interference striations monostatic bistatic configuration were obtained by simulations. Further, field experiment carried out lake, data collected for spherical two frequency bands, i.e., 20−40 kHz 40−80 kHz. The results showed good agreement with simulation that existence made phenomenon waveguides more complex, range-frequency characteristics closely related to sonar system, function, range, movement trajectory. These phenomena found theoretically analyzed paper. research can be applied detection recognition, signal parameter estimation, tracking, other fields.
